The Devil’s Passion, written and performed by master storyteller, Justin Butcher, directed by Olivier-Award winner, Guy Mastroianni, with haunting and evocative music and sound by Jack Arnold was performed at the Teatro Filodrammatici di Milano, in February 2017. This show, produced for the Milan audience by Julia Holden and Maggie Rose with Italian surtitles and translations by Salvatore Cabras offered an audacious hell’s-eye view of the Passion of Christ. By turns comic, gripping, poetic, pungent and heart-stirring.
